Ashmita’s Questions:-

  • What is the biggest book on your TBR? Ans: I am currently reading the 7 book series – The Seven Sisters by Lucinda Riley. It has an interesting storyline – so I’m hoping this turns out good.
  • Favorite Ship? Ans. This is hard – there are so many couples from books and shows that I ship. Chandler and Monica (FRIENDS) – are the OG couple goals. While I don’t really follow celebrities but in recent times I really ship Hyun Bin and Son Ye‑jin, the lead actors from the Korean show ‘Crash Landing On You’. Their reel and real life chemistry is so cute. From books, funnily I wish I could un-ship couples like Harry and Ginny. 😛
  • Do you annotate your books? Care to share, how/why? Ans. I do not annotate physical books – it almost feels like I’m destroying the essence of the book. But I annotate books on my Kindle by highlighting quotes or plotlines that I might want to revisit or share with others. It just makes it easy to go back to the parts that were confusing or really stood out for me.
  • Which fictional character would you like to date? Ans. Just one? Damn, that’s hard! Gerry Clark from the novel PS: I LOVE YOU. He is the most perfect fictional husband.
  • Think of your a happy memory. Maybe your happiest one. And tell me which book you are reminded of when you think of it. Ans. OMG, this is such a good question! ‘The Alchemist’ – “Because, wherever your heart is, that is where you will find your treasure.” ❤

I loved answering Ashmita’s questions. They were fun and made me think a lot!

    3. Trying hard not fall flat on my face
    4. Starting my blog earlier. Wish I hadn’t left it so late in the year to join the lovely blogging community

Thanks for nominating me and oh! Crash landing on you, you are a fan too! Since you liked this, I would recommend you watch “Something in the rain! I think you will love it!
And Gerry seriously??!! Aye woman, you snatching my fictional husband! :p
    Ok, here are my answers:
    1) Choose the life of a fictional character, I would choose to be Holly Kennedy so that I can be with Gerry, at least for whatever time we have with each other. I mean, imagine someone loving you so much even after you show them the darker side of you. Now, that’s true love!
    2) The Holiday- I loved how transformative the swap was for both the characters and we see the characters finally facing the truth in their lives and coming out much stronger than before.
    3) I’m still trying to figure out the name for my memoir!- That will be the name of my memoir :p
    4) In 2020, I would change my habit of procastinating. I could have started my blog when there was so much time on my hands to start a blog. But i was busy watching news.
    5) three things I couldn’t have survived without in 2020- Oh i can say, I had everything normal for me since I’m in essential services. So it did seem odd stepping outside for work while entire country was in lockdown. And honestly, even if i complained that I had to, i just felt gratitude to even have a job while my friends were getting laid off. So yeah, food, water, my mom, couldn’t have survived without them!

i was planning to do a blog post before Blogmas starts but that didn’t happen. Hihi. School and motivation has been a struggle. So I’m coming back with my answers here:

If you could choose to live the life of a fictional character, who would you pick?
I think every character comes with their struggles however amazing they are and how good their life is. But if I had to choose, I’d go with Blair Waldorf. Her life can be a mess, but I’d really like to lie in bathtub and eat macaroons atm.

Favourite holiday themed book or movie? (I’m looking for recommendations!)
Home alone! Been watching Home alone 1 and 2 since I was in elementary school. Other parts are meh.

What title would you give to your biography?
I’d name it with some kind of vine. Like “What up, I’m Jared, I’m 19…” Just to show that I’m from vine generation.

If you could change one thing about 2020 (it can’t be erasing COVID since that started in 2019) what would you change?
Would prevent all those damn forests from burning?! I mean this year is just too much.

What are the three things that you couldn’t have survived 2020 without?
My boyfriend (let’s pretend that counts as a thing), my laptop and pizza. Pizza has really been a comfort.

    Really great questions!! Loved them.
